The city of Claviere lies in Alta Valle Susa at 1760 m a.s.l. and is a famous skiing resort, plenty of ski-slopes for both cross-country and alpine skiing.
It is set in the "Via Lattea" and offers a large choice of ski-slopes:
- Serra Granet-La Coche ( almost easy )
- Gimont e
- Pian del Sole.

It is approx. 97 km from Torino and it boasts 169 inhabitants on a mountain surface of 267 Ha.
